Seven Marketing Suggestions For the Nuclear Industry

Gia Milinovich at Potential Energy is giving some advice to the nuclear energy industry on how we need to brand and market our products around the world.

As far as I'm concerned, there are plenty of examples of how we're already acting on much of what she suggests. Here's just one example.

It's a sad fact that facts are not enough for most people and that the above awfully cheezy (but still true) nuclear propaganda is needed.

The quote "how we need to brand and market our products" makes me shudder. We don't need (or shouldn't need in a sane world) to "market" or "brand" some "product".

We should build and sell nuclear reactors! (Sorry, I meant "brand and market fission devices").

Good advice. Particularly using fission instead of nuclear. I will use fission power more now. That does sound good. The Clinton, Illinois fission plant is really nice looking all shrouded in blue. Dark blue but nicely colored nonetheless. We have our paint buckets ready at AAEA and are ready to go.
