Wow. Surely there are facts left out of that article, that the coalition couldn't be that flat out deceptive. Where did they get the baby's name from? What would possess them the outright lie about the cause of death?

I live in Connecticut and I would like to think I'm somewhat responsible for this group no longer having public rallies (I crashed a couple and asked some questions about their science. It didn't go over well).

I don't mean to be self-promoting but I've locked horns with this...lady before. She's rather nutty and very self-serving. She has called herself a civil rights crusader. She was disbarred after some very messy incidents when she filed some very very dubious lawsuits including one for sexual harassment by a dog. Yes, I kid you not. It was even in "News of the Weird"

She was disbarred, censured and has had several decisions against her by the judicial grevence boards of the state.

Honestly, if you look into the background it's amazing how much attention this woman has gotten considering what a complete looney she is.

From NEI’s Japan micro-site: NRC, Industry Concur on Many Post-Fukushima Actions Industry/Regulatory/Political Issues • There is a “great deal of alignment” between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the industry on initial steps to take at America’s nuclear energy facilities in response to the nuclear accident in Japan, Charles Pardee, the chief operating officer of Exelon Generation Co., said at an agency briefing today. The briefing gave stakeholders an opportunity to discuss staff recommendations for near-term actions the agency may take at U.S. facilities.
