Be sure to look at Texas' new coalition which was created to promote nuclear energy in the state:
United under the name Nuclear Energy for Texans, a statewide coalition has formed in support of nuclear energy as a safe, reliable and clean alternative to meeting the increasing energy needs of the state. The coalition includes elected officials at the state and local level, representatives from business and industry, environmental groups, health organizations and the scientific and engineering community.
The coalition was formed solely to educate Texans and promote the benefits of nuclear energy as a safe, reliable and clean alternative form of electricity for the state.

Support by the public originating from within the public, for new nuclear power, is certainly one of the most important key ingredients in the renaissance of nuclear power.
Your efforts will serve to promote a environmentally friendly, cost effective, politically correct approach to meeting the basic need for electricity for the people of Texas.
I am in new nuclear plant licensing. My mom asks what I do; I say that I am working to bring cheap nuclear generated electricity to all of the people of Texas.
We all should take a role and responsibility to at least inform our family and friends of the many benefits of new nuclear power plants.
Please join with me in spreading the gospel regarding nuclear power.
Not quite...NET was initiated and funded by Exelon Nuclear. That's not to question the sincerity of its members and supporters, but it hardly "originated from within the public."
