Here's a summary of what went on in the energy markets last week: Electricity prices were mixed throughout the country last week (see pages 1 & 2). Gas prices rose at the Henry Hub increasing $0.67 to $6.94 / MMBtu (see page 4). Crude oil prices decreased to $51.51 / barrel (see page 5). Three reactors shut down for maintenance last week. Palo Verde 3 was offline for battery tests, Sequoyah 2 tripped but was back up and running the next day, and Arkansas Nuclear 2 shut down due to a dropped control element assembly.
