In a recent survey, 90 chief executives and company chairmen in New Zealand responded favorably to nuclear energy, which the New Zealand Herald says is "fast-losing its bogeyman status," thanks in part to a looming energy crisis. Sixty-four percent of CEOs surveyed said nuclear power should be investigated "as a means to help secure New Zealand's long-term energy supply."
