I'm a blogger who's all about "civilisation that continues to function". A pragmatic kind of a thing, not based on emotion or hyperbole and the like. So much of that floating around these days and I'm glad you guys are out there trying to say it straight.

Don't know about you, but electricity makes my Internet go and it keeps my house warm in the winter. I'm a big fan of the uninterrupted production of it.

I think that nuclear power, nastiness and all, is the best technology humans have to help get us over the unsustainable use of finite resources. It buys us more time to figure out renewable energy so we can to get a point where we can extract everything we need from sources that are effectively infinite.
