John Edwards, the only candidate who has stated his outright opposition to the expansion of nuclear power is expected to withdraw his candidacy for the Democratic nomination at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2008. See Edwards to Drop Out of Democratic Race.
While I don't have a problem with a lot of Edwards' policy positions, I disagree with him on the issue of the place of nuclear enery within the US and World energy mix.
