I actually used to be really anti-nuclear. But these days I know more about the physics (particularly that length of half-life and dangerousness tend to correlate inversely).
Also, the newer designs like the PBR are much safer. Indeed I'd go as far to say that they're probably safer both for people and the environment than the coal burners.
